I have a friend who has competed for years. She talked me into doing a competition. I started working with a trainer and changed my eating habits. I loved the way my body responded so I stepped on stage in my first show in October 2010 feeling great, and the rest is history!
From my two sisters, I want them to be very proud of me, I love them and miss them so much as they’re in Spain and I haven't seen them in a while… also when I received my first email from a fan in my home country of Spain, I'm grateful for all of my fans but when I realized I was reaching people back home and I was an inspiration to others it really made me feel proud and motivated.

Interval training for cardio probably 3-4 days a week and on the other days I will just hit normal cardio.
I eat about 2000 calories five to six meals a day (about two and a half to three hours apart) consisting of lean protein such as chicken, fish, turkey, or egg whites and slow digesting carbs, such as oatmeal and sweet potatoes. I also eat lots of fresh veggies to help fill me up and add fiber so everything is very clean no sugar, no salt, no dairy and nothing high in sodium.
Example of my diet:
Breakfast: ½ oatmeal and 4 egg whites
Snack: protein shake and a fruit
Lunch: 6 oz of chicken breast and sweet potato
Snack: 2 salt free rice cakes with natural peanut butter
Dinner: 6oz fish and asparagus

I really don't have bad food cravings too often. Life is all about balance. If you are eating healthy the majority of time and working out consistently then you should have days where you can indulge. (Just be careful :)
The first exercise would be Squats. I love working my legs and glutes and for me I get the best results from Squats.
The Second would be incline ab bench with weight because I love the results you get if you stick with it.
I also like to work my legs because I love the feeling of weights but I have to say I love it all and my trainer constantly changes my workouts. We obviously do a lot of lifting in the gym, but we mix it up a lot with plyometric in the sand and track workouts.

Not much more than a minute. I like to get in and out the gym so I can
balance my personal life.
Yes I do! Reaggeaton, Flamenco, R&B, Hip-hop, Top 40!!!
What mix I guess depends in which mood I am in!

I like to set up both short and long term goals.
Right now I have several big projects in the works I am working on my bikini line so I am very excited about that!
What I am most proud of is what I have accomplished off the stage. My personal life, goals and dreams are all right where I want them to be.

We all have obstacles in fitness. The main thing we need to focus on is being consistent and not giving up.
I never use a scale. I will measure body fat when I'm prepping for a competition but in regards to normal everyday life I go off of how my body feels and What the mirror says :)
My husband and trainer Joe Discuillo! He played competitive sports his entire life, has an amazing career in health and fitness and has been a trainer for more than 12 years. I will not be where I am without him! He is my rock!

*Protein powder – I use a protein powder that is high in fiber, protein and essential fats, I love that is naturally filling and helps me suppress my cravings.
*Multi-vitamin — To promote over-all good health and nutrition.
*Energy supplements — Sometimes I need a bit of help especially before working out.
*Glutamine — For faster recovery.
Work hard in the gym and even harder in the kitchen..
Three words I use.
If you follow these three words you will be good.
I am very excited to be launching my new Ingrid Romero Bikini line. We will be launching the new line at the European Arnold Classic in my home country Spain!!!!
