I've been seriously training since 2006. I lifted here and there since I was in high school, but I never took it as "bodybuilding". To tell you the truth, I never expected to be in this shape when I started. I exceeded my expectations and that just shows that hard work and dedication can take you anywhere.
I train at least 5 days a week. I know a lot of people like to take days off, but for me I lift as much as possible. I end up repeating the same muscle in the same week. I’m a strong believer in super sets. I love to go heavy for my first set, and then drop the weight for the second. That gives you heavy weight for size and the high reps for cutting. I actually do zero cardio, because I have a very high metabolism. For people with high metabolism, I don’t recommend doing cardio, but rather do a high intensity workout with little rest in between. Cardio just burns too much muscle for me because of my low fat content.
Monday: Chest,
Tuesday: Back/Traps,
Wednesday: Bis/Tris,
Thursday: Shoulders/Traps,
Friday: Legs,
Saturday: Repeat any muscle. Abs everyday
Sunday: Off
Now this would be the perfect diet. But like most people, it never works out that way. Unfortunately, I find myself eating whatever is convenient. Maybe one day, I'll perfect my diet.
Probably a burger or some popeyes chicken!
Motivation isn't an issue me. I love to stay in shape. Who doesn't want to look better? No matter how busy I am, I will make time for the gym.
You know I've had a lot of people and a couple of teams offer to sponsor me for a competition, but it has always just been about satisfying myself and not really people or judges. I've always had enough motivation to continue training without the need to get ready for a competition.
Idk. Maybe win a competition
I don't really have one to be honest. I motivate myself.
Consistency is the key because you'll lose it a lot faster than you'll gain it.
